Lose Weight With Hypnosis

When people are seeking help in losing weight and find out that I am a Hypnotherapist, they become curious and want to know if I can “make” them lose weight.

 Hypnotists can not make anyone do anything against their will. However, Hypnotists can help you change bad habits and create positive new ones. They can also help you overcome negative feelings that you have created by yourself or may have been installed by someone else.

Hypnosis can help a person change their body shape and size by accessing the subconscious part of the mind. The critical factor is the barrier between the conscious and the subconscious part of the mind and during Hypnosis a person can access the subconscious part of the mind.  Hypnosis is natural altered state of awareness that everyone goes through at least twice a day, once when you are falling asleep at night and again as you are waking up in the morning.  Hypnosis is also achieved when you are absorbed in a good book, an emotionally intense movie or anytime that you use your imagination.

You can choose to either focus on everything that you don’t want, or you can give attention to the things that you do want.  It is your imagination that is the key to getting what you want.

Some people seem to be able to decide to reduce their body shape and size easily and joyfully, while others suffer with food cravings, feelings of being deprived or even punished.  Why is it easy for some and so hard for others?

The answer is hypnosis and the power of suggestion. The easy way to release weight is to repeat a suggestion that feels good while in the trance like state. This will allow the suggestion to go into the subconscious (emotional) part of the mind and either strengthen or replace the previous programming. 

Try saying this as you first wake up or as you are falling asleep: I am in the process of becoming slimming and slimmer and healthier and healthier. Then really enjoy the pictures in your mind and all the feel-good feelings of you being that ideal size and shape. Or you can do it the hard way and repeatably tell yourself at every opportunity that “losing weight is going to be hard and I am going to be irritable without my alcohol, chips, sweet beverages, deserts and forced to consume smaller portions.
